Privacy Statement
To use this website, you are not required to provide us with any personal data. The Brattle Group (“Brattle”) only collects personally identifiable information from visitors to this website to the extent that either the visitor's web browser automatically provides such information to our web server (see Cookies section below), or the visitor has specifically provided it to us, whether in order to e-mail us through the website or to subscribe to one of our newsletters or otherwise. Except where a visitor has provided personal identifying information in order for us to respond directly, Brattle uses such information only in an aggregated form to see how the website is being used in order to measure the popularity and effectiveness of the website and of distinct web pages.

Note that this website is hosted in the United States. Should you choose to provide us with your email address and other personal information, if you reside outside of the United States, such activity will constitute your consent to the transfer of such data to the United States.

We will not disclose your personal identifying information to third parties unless required or permitted by law or by any government, judicial, or administrative mandate.

Brattle reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement from time to time by posting such changes on this website.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files downloaded to your computer or device when you visit a website. These downloaded files can then be sent back to the originating website on a subsequent visit, or forwarded to another website that recognizes that cookie. For more information about cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

Brattle uses an encoded session cookie to improve the user’s experience when visiting our website. This session cookie assigns each new user an ID number. If you have cookies enabled on your browser, a small text file with this ID number will be stored on your computer. If you return to the Brattle website within 30 days of your last visit, the website will recognize the ID number stored on your computer and will use it to restore any articles you stored in your Binder during the previous visit but did not print or save. This cookie allows you the convenience of not needing to repeatedly select articles if you navigate away from the Brattle website.

Brattle also subscribes to Google Analytics, which uses Google’s cookies to analyze how the site is used by visitors. Google tracks a wide variety of information, including the number of hits on individual pages of the site, IP addresses of users (to determine repeat users and country location), information about where else users have browsed, brand of browser used by visitors, and type of device used by visitors. Google aggregates all of this data and creates a report for Brattle so that Brattle can understand how the website is being used by visitors. This information helps us monitor which content attracts most visitors, and we will use this information to improve the content on the website. Google’s cookies are not under Brattle’s control. For more information about the use of cookies by Google Analytics, Brattle refers you to the Google Analytics cookie page located at https://developers.google.com.

By continuing to use this site, you consent to Brattle’s use of these cookies on your computer or device. You can enable or disable cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser. If you disable cookies you will still be able to view our website. (For more information about cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.)
