Brattle Principal Ahmad Faruqui will present at the California Public Utilities Commission’s (CPUC) Electric Rate Forum, taking place December 11-12, 2017 in San Francisco, CA.

The event gathers leading rate design experts and representatives from the solar, storage, demand response, and electric vehicle industries to discuss innovative rate design concepts to facilitate better integration of renewable energy, lower costs for electricity consumers, and more efficient use of storage and other demand management technologies.

Dr. Faruqui will present during the panel discussions “Recovering System Level Capacity Costs: Generation and Transmission” (Day 1), and “Experience with Real-Time Pricing (RTP) and Other Advanced Rates in Other Jurisdictions: Strategies to Promote Adoption in California” (Day 2).
