Brattle Consultants Present at Society of Utility and Regulatory Financial Analysts 44th Financial Forum

Brattle principal Bente Villadsen and senior associate Toby Brown recently presented at the Society of Utility and Regulatory Financial Analysts (SURFA) 44th Financial Forum, which took place April 26-27, 2012 at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. The 44th Forum explored the issues affecting the cost of capital during the current post-recession environment from a public utility, economic, and investor perspective. The program served to assist attorneys, utility companies, regulatory commissions, consumer advocate agencies, as well as individual rate of return practitioners in developing a better understanding of cost of capital issues in the regulated utility industry, particularly as the economy and capital markets continue to recover from the economic recession. Drs. Villadsen and Brown served as panelists during the session, “International Innovation in Rate of Return Determination.” Their presentation can be viewed here.
