Brattle Economists to Lead Association of Energy Services Professionals Webinar on Behavior-Based Energy Efficiency Programs

Brattle principal Ahmad Faruqui and senior associate Sanem Sergici will be speaking at the upcoming Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) Brown Bag Webinar, “Applying Experimental Design to Behavior-Based Programs: defining best practices and lessons from the field.” The webinar will discuss how utilities across the U.S. have been investigating or deploying behavior-based efficiency programs, as well as how they should administer these programs in order to accurately measure changes in behavior among consumers. Drs. Faruqui and Sergici will be speaking alongside Jeff Haase, Energy Efficiency and Conservation program coordinator for Great River Energy, a not-for-profit electric cooperative. The program will be moderated by Bob Collins of the Ontario Power Authority. The webinar is scheduled to take place Thursday, August 25th, 2011 at 1:00 pm EST.
