Brattle Principal Coleman Bazelon to Participate at Broadband Breakfast Club’s Event on Competition and Wireless Networks

Brattle principal Coleman Bazelon will be a guest panelist at Broadband Breakfast Club’s upcoming event, “Competition in the Wireless Environment: How to Get More Handsets on More Networks,” on February 15th in Washington, DC. Hosted by Broadband Breakfast, an internet policy and intellectual property news and events service, the panel session will focus on Verizon’s decision to not sign an exclusivity deal after joining AT&T in obtaining Apple’s popular handset, the iPhone. The panelists will discuss whether or not this decision will open the door for other carriers to acquire the iPhone in the near future. Dr. Bazelon will be joined on the panel by other experts and policy-makers in the fields of antitrust, competition, and communications. The event is open to the public.
