Brattle Principal Coleman Bazelon to Participate in Broadband US TV Policy Series on Community Broadband

Coleman Bazelon, a principal in The Brattle Group’s Washington, DC office, will participate in a live webcast presented by TV Worldwide, Broadband US TV, and the National League of Cities TV on July 29, 2010 at 1:00-2:30 PM Eastern. The webcast, “Community Broadband – A Blessing or a Curse?” will be hosted by Broadband US TV hosts Jim Baller and Marty Stern, and Congressman Rick Boucher, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 9th District of Virginia and Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet, will also participate. Dr. Bazelon will be one of the featured experts on the panel, and will face off in a debate on the pros and cons of community broadband. The panelists will also discuss examples of successes and failures, as well as the political, legal, economic, technological, and social issues posed by community broadband.
