Brattle Principal Jürgen Weiss to Moderate a Harvard Business School Association of Boston Panel on Global Climate Change

Jürgen Weiss, a principal in The Brattle Group’s Cambridge, MA office and head of the firm's climate change practice, will moderate a Harvard Business School Association of Boston (HBSAB) panel on “Solving the Global Climate Change Puzzle: Private Innovation and Government Regulation,” taking place January 21, 2010. The panel discussion will focus on green technology innovation and private sector investment in the face of existing and emerging national and international policy frameworks. Questions to be addressed by the panel include whether or not the political will to establish and maintain high carbon prices is strong enough to lead to substantial private sector investments, and who will lead the development of clean technology innovation that will be required for a carbon free future. The role of government regulation in the areas of innovation and investment will also be discussed. For more information, please visit the HBSAB website.
