Brattle Principal Judy Chang Joins the New England Women in Energy and the Environment in Honoring Women for Achievements in Leadership

New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) will host an awards gala on May 8, 2013 from 6 – 9 PM at the Boston College Club in Boston, MA to honor four outstanding women in the energy and environmental industries.

Recipients of the 2013 NEWIEE Achievement Award were selected by a committee of their peers from a wide pool of well-qualified and accomplished nominees from across New England. They were selected based on their demonstration of professional excellence and leadership, their influence on public policy, the development of new concepts, and their mentorship of other women in their area of expertise.

Brattle principal Judy Chang, a co-founder and executive director of NEWIEE, commented “Three years ago we instituted the NEWIEE Leadership and Achievement Awards to recognize and honor the women who have led the way in the energy and environmental industries. They serve as role models for others and exhibit significant achievements and talents. We look forward to celebrating their achievements at the Gala and are particularly honored to have Commissioner Cheryl LaFleur join us as the keynote speaker.”
