Brattle Principal Lisa Cameron to Speak on Patent Policy and Competition at Houston Bar Association

Brattle principal Lisa Cameron has been invited to present at the Houston Bar Association’s Antitrust Section’s meeting on “Patent Law and Economic Incentives for Innovation,” taking place May 16, 2013.

Dr. Cameron, who specializes in antitrust, regulatory policy, intellectual property, and finance matters, will give a presentation on “Aligning Patent Policy with Competition: Recent Reforms.” She will discuss the complementary roles of antitrust law and patent policy in spurring competition; patent remedy reform and its impact on competition; and patent quality reforms and its implications for the case of Federal Trade Commission (FTC) v. Actavis.
