Brattle Principal Phil Hanser to Speak at National Governors Association’s Energy Advisors Policy Institute

Brattle principal Phil Hanser has been selected to present at the National Governors Association (NGA) annual Governors’ Energy Advisors Policy Institute, taking place May 30-31, 2012 in Washington, DC. The two-day session brings together governors’ top energy advisors to explore leading energy policy and technology issues currently facing states, and examine solutions to reduce costs, promote economic development, and address environmental goals. Mr. Hanser will speak during the panel session, “Emerging Issues for State Energy Plans & Integrated Resource Planning.” The session will address several emerging issues being considered in both state and utility integrated resource plans for reliability in providing current and future energy needs. Mr. Hanser’s presentation will highlight coal plant transitions, regulatory uncertainty, and economic development. For more information, please visit the NGA website.
