Brattle Principal Romkaew Broehm to Participate in Panel Discussion on the Impact of Dodd-Frank on Energy Companies

Brattle principal Romkaew Broehm will serve as a panelist at the upcoming panel discussion, “Navigating the Complexities of Dodd-Frank: A Look at What Energy Companies Face in 2012.” The seminar will be co-hosted by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, The Brattle Group, and PwC, and will take place on February 9, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Houston, Texas. The panel discussion will present best practices for dealing with the economic, governance, regulatory, and transaction issues that energy companies will face as they begin implementing the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act. The seminar will cover an array of relevant topics, including: corporate governance and reporting requirements for energy companies, position limits for specific oil and gas products, considerations affecting renewable energy developments, and risks and opportunities for market participants. Dr. Broehm will be joined on the panel by J.P. Bruynes and William Morris of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Cary Oswald of Xcel Energy, and Pankaj Sahay of PwC. Julia Sullivan of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP will serve as panel moderator.
