Brattle Senior Associate Pablo Ruiz Presents at CARILEC Renewable Energy Forum

Brattle senior associate Pablo Ruiz has recently presented at the Caribbean Electric Utility Service Corporation (CARILEC) Renewable Energy Forum 2013, which took place September 16-18, 2013 in Bridgetown, Barbados.

CARILEC, an association of electric utilities, suppliers, manufactures and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean, was established to facilitate the development of world-class electric energy services throughout the Caribbean. The Forum addressed the gradual shift to renewable forms of energy in the Caribbean region, how utilities are addressing and planning for these changes, and the ways in which customers and stakeholders are responding to achieve sustainable energy.

Dr. Ruiz presented on “Planning for high levels of renewable penetration: key challenges and approaches for Caribbean island systems.”
