Brattle Senior Associates Florin Dorobantu and Natasha Dupont to Present at ASIL Midyear Meeting Research Forum

Brattle senior associates Florin Dorobantu and Natasha Dupont will present their working draft paper “Country Risk and Investor-State International Arbitration Damages” at the American Society of International Law’s (ASIL) Research Forum held during the Society’s midyear meeting October 31 to November 2.

The ASIL Research Forum sessions aim to provide a setting for the presentation and focused discussion of works-in-progress. The sessions cover current cutting-edge scholarship across a range of international law topics. Along with the Research Forum, the ASIL Midyear Meeting includes a Practitioners' Forum, a keynote and opening reception at the United Nations, and the fall meetings of the ASIL Executive Council and AJIL Board of Editors.

Dr. Dorobantu and Ms. Dupont’s research topic was selected along with 49 others for presentation in a double-blind selection process from among 196 proposals received from 36 different countries. They will present as part of a panel titled “European Perspectives on International Finance and Arbitration” to be chaired by Laurence Boisson de Chazournes, of University of Geneva.
