Bruce Tsuchida and Sanem Sergici to Present at CREF Utility Workshop

Brattle Principal Brice Tsuchida and Senior Associate Sanem Sergici will present at the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum’s (CREF) Utility Workshop, taking place October 17-19, 2016 in Miami, FL.

The CREF gathers regional and international energy sector stakeholders, government officials, utilities, and regulators to explore renewable energy investment opportunities in the Caribbean. This year’s Utility Workshop will discuss topics such as the transition to utility 2.0, grid modernization, energy storage, advanced distribution generation strategies to reduce peak load consumption, and mitigating the impact of changing weather patterns on utility infrastructure.

Mr. Tsuchida and Dr. Sergici will present during the panel discussion, “An Evolving Utility Business Model for the Caribbean.” Panelists will explore challenges facing Caribbean utilities set against the backdrop of the changing face of the global utility industry. They will also identify and analyze approaches to the new utility business model and extrapolate key findings for senior Caribbean utility executives.
