Elaine Buckberg to Present at OECD’s 54th Session of the Public Governance Committee

Brattle Principal Elaine Buckberg will present at the upcoming Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) 54th Session of the Public Governance Committee (PGC) Symposium, taking place November 14, 2016 in Paris, France.

The event, “Ensuring government capacity to co-ordinate cross-cutting initiatives,” offers senior officials and global partners the opportunity to explore how governments can ensure effective leadership and strengthen policy implementation approached in a cross-sectoral context, whether for major infrastructure projects or cross-cutting issues such as inclusion or migration.

Dr. Buckberg will present as a keynote speaker for the session, “Strengthening policy implementation approaches in a cross-sectoral context.” The session will discuss how to mobilize and align the machinery of governments towards the implementation of such initiatives and how to maintain accountability for results in a broader context where partnerships with the private sector are crucial.
