Judy Chang to Present at Independent Power Producers Society of Alberta Conference

Brattle principal Judy Chang has been selected to serve as a panelist at the upcoming Independent Power Producers Society of Alberta (IPPSA) 21st Annual Conference, “The Art of the Deal,” taking place March 8-10, 2015 in Banff, Alberta.

The IPPSA is a forum for dialogue among Alberta’s power producers and a supporter of competition in Alberta’s electrical market. The conference will feature panels and keynotes providing lessons learned from policy, regulatory and commercial deals.

Ms. Chang will participate in the panel, “Climate Change Policy and an Open Electricity Market,” which will feature the government’s perspective about what the province’s new climate change plan intends on achieving. The panel will also address the ways in which other jurisdictions have tried to implement similar emissions reduction policies.
