Marc Chupka to Present on the Economic Impact of the Clean Power Plan at the Annual Public Utility Research Center Conference

Brattle Principal Marc Chupka will present at the 43rd Annual Public Utility Research Center (PURC) Conference, taking place March 16-17, 2016 in Gainesville, FL.

The event, “A Messy Process for a Clean Power Plan: Things Keep Getting Messier!” will examine options and decision making for environmental policies, energy supply, industry roles and responsibilities, and water regulation.

Mr. Chupka will present during the session, “Impacts of the Clean Power Plan on Industry Economics.” He will discuss the potential of the Clean Power Plan (CPP) to transform the economics of the electric industry, outline likely scenarios following the implementation of the CPP, and address the implications for utilities, regulators, and customers.
