Renée Duplantis to Present at Canadian Bar Association’s Competition Law Fall Conference

Brattle Principal Renée Duplantis will present at the upcoming Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) Competition Law Fall Conference, taking place October 6-7, 2016 in Ottawa, ON.

The event brings together all segments of the Canadian and global competition law community to share knowledge, experience, and advice regarding all areas of competition law. The event offers a variety of panels, including a unique debate between former Commissioners on the direction of competition law enforcement and policy in Canada.

Dr. Duplantis will present during the panel discussion, “Non-Price Effects in Competition Analysis – Fact or Fiction?” Panelists will address whether non-price effects are considered in competition cases and assessments, and how non-price effects, such as impacts on quality, innovation, consumer choice, diversity of business models, and convenience, are measured.
