William Zarakas to Present on Climate Resilience Investment at U.S. Department of Energy Conference

Brattle principal William Zarakas will present at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Conference, “Partnership for Energy Sector Climate Resilience,” taking place November 19, 2015 in Washington, DC.

The conference will cover the methods, tools, and information necessary for identifying and assessing cost-effective resilience solutions to climate change and extreme weather. The event will also identify high-priority gaps and opportunities for new research and analysis.

Mr. Zarakas will present during the panel discussion, “Policy Perspectives on Climate Resilience and Cost-Benefit Analysis,” which will address the key policy drivers and recent events that have focused attention on the issue of cost recovery for climate resilience investments. Panelists will discuss key technical issues that play a factor in policy decisions.
