Brattle Announces Promotions of Sanem Sergici and Pallavi Seth to Principal

The Brattle Group is pleased to announce the promotions of Sanem Sergici and Pallavi Seth to principal.

Dr. Sergici has expertise in electricity markets and applied econometrics. The focus of her work has been on assisting electric utilities, regulators, market operators, and technology firms in addressing strategic questions related to energy efficiency, demand response, distributed generation, and understanding behavior of electricity prosumers. She has been at the forefront of the design and analysis of dynamic pricing, enabling technology, and behavior-based energy efficiency programs in the North America. Dr. Sergici holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Northeastern University in the fields of applied econometrics and industrial organization.

Dr. Seth has extensive experience in the areas of intellectual property and economic policy, with a particular focus on supporting clients in litigation before the International Trade Commission (ITC). She has prepared testimony in numerous high-profile Section 337 investigations at the ITC and has led case teams in intellectual property matters in U.S. district courts, including the assessment of commercial success and the calculation of damages associated with patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also focuses on applying the tools of economic analysis to policy questions and has performed numerous policy analyses across various industries. Dr. Seth received a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College.

Drs. Sergici and Seth are based in Brattle’s Cambridge, MA and Washington, DC offices, respectively.
