Brattle Announces the Promotions of Branko Jovanovic and Jeremy Verlinda to Principal

The Brattle Group is pleased to announce the promotions of Branko Jovanovic and Jeremy Verlinda to Principal.

Dr. Jovanovic specializes in international arbitration, securities, and finance. He has helped his clients in response to formal investigations with several entities including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), State Attorneys Generals, and organizations such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and U.S. stock exchanges. He has also provided testimony before the SEC, the International Chamber of Commerce’s International Court of Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association, and in various federal and state courts.

Additionally, Dr. Jovanovic’s research has been published in Review of Income and Wealth, Economics of Transition, the World Bank Economic Review, and Law360.

Dr. Jovanovic holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A & M University.

Dr. Verlinda’s fields of expertise include antitrust, competition, econometrics, statistics, and analysis of market manipulation. His casework focuses on monopolization claims in the payments and electricity industries, criminal price fixing in air cargo and financial markets, and merger analysis in the consumer goods, airlines, entertainment, and electricity industries.

In electricity markets, Dr. Verlinda has expertise in merger simulation, including incorporation of system dispatch accounting for transmission grid characteristics.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.
