Brattle Named a Top Economic Consultancy by Global Competition Review

The Brattle Group was recently named one of the top economic consultancies by Global Competition Review (GCR). As the use of economic analysis in antitrust cases becomes increasingly important, economic experts are critical in proving or challenging harm. The 14th Annual “Economics 20” is an assessment of the world’s leading antitrust and competition economic consultancies. Each entrant is evaluated using several criteria including size of practice, number of nominations to The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists, reputation, and work over the past year.

The GCR specifically emphasizes the growth of Brattle’s antitrust and competition practice, which includes 52 economists led by principals Andrew Abere, Bob Reynolds, James Reitzes, and Carlos Lapuerta. The firm’s network of experts includes Nobel laureates Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia University and Daniel McFadden of the University of California at Berkeley, in addition to academics from several other prominent institutions, including the London School of Economics, Northeastern University, Georgetown University, Stanford University, and Harvard Law School.
