Brattle Principal Jurgen Weiss to Serve on Advisory Committee of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy

Brattle principal Jurgen Weiss has been invited to join the Advisory Committee of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KA-CARE), an initiative founded by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia focused on freeing up valuable and non-replenishable oil and gas resources, diversifying the economy, and accelerating the build-up of long-term sustainable power and water supply capacity. Dr. Weiss will serve as committee member alongside other global leaders and professionals in the fields of renewable energy and city planning. The primary role of the Advisory Committee will be to develop the design and financial and legal framework of a unified master plan of KA-CARE, which aims to ensure sustainable development of the renewable and atomic energy sectors in Saudi Arabia.
