The Brattle Group is pleased to announce that Principals Carlos Lapuerta, Alexis Maniatis, Stewart Myers, and José Antonio Garcia have been named among the world’s leading arbitration experts in Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2016: Expert Witnesses Analysis.

Who’s Who Legal Arbitration recognizes practitioners around the world that are commended for their expertise in international arbitration proceedings. Nominees have been selected based upon comprehensive, independent survey work with both general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide.

Mr. Maniatis, president and chief executive officer of Brattle, leads the firm’s arbitration practice and has more than twenty years of experience providing consulting and expert witness testimony. Peers remarked him as being “tremendously impressive.”

Professor Myers is the Robert C. Merton Professor of Financial Economics at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and was praised for being “incredibly learned in finance matters.”

Dr. García has presented expert reports to national and international courts and competition authorities concerning merger proceedings, allegations of abuse of market power, price fixing, predatory pricing, and regulatory reforms in the energy, banking, telecommunications, and food supply industries.
