Principal Peter Fox-Penner Featured on The Climate Reality Project’s 24 Hours of Reality Broadcast

Brattle Principal Peter Fox-Penner has been featured on The Climate Reality Project’s broadcast, 24 Hours of Reality: The Cost of Carbon, which began at 11 am PST on October 22 and aired for a full 24 hours.

The Carbon Reality Project, founded and chaired by former Vice President Al Gore, is dedicated to a global cultural movement to take action and ignite support from lawmakers on the climate crisis. The 24 Hours of Reality broadcast brought together well-known figures, scientists, economists, and other experts to explore the ways we’re all paying for carbon pollution in our daily lives and how we can solve the crisis with a market price on carbon.

Dr. Fox-Penner was featured along other panelists, including Mr. Gore, during the North American segment, “Ways of Life and Livelihood,” which took a closer look at how carbon pollution and climate change have had a severe impact on our ways of life and livelihood. Dr. Fox-Penner spoke specifically on resiliency and climate impacts, focusing on recent superstorms that have hit the nation.
