Renée Duplantis Appointed to the C.D. Howe Institute Competition Policy Council

Brattle Principal Renée Duplantis has been appointed to the C.D. Howe Institute Competition Policy Council.

The Council consists of the top-ranked academics and practitioners active in competition policy. It provides expert analysis of emerging competition policy issues, including those potentially faced by the Competition Bureau, and provides an opportunity for policymakers, the media, and the public to draw on the knowledge of the competition field’s most distinguished experts.

Dr. Duplantis specializes in the empirical analyses of antitrust issues, primarily mergers, civil litigation, damages and class-action matters. She has previously served as the T.D. MacDonald Chair in Industrial Economics and as Special Economic Advisor at the Competition Bureau of Canada
