Mr. Hickey specializes in merger and acquisition (M&A)-related litigation.

He provides valuation and damages analyses at all stages of litigation and has served as a testifying expert in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Mr. Hickey also has experience in disputes involving appraisal claims, solvency, securities fraud damages, material adverse change (MAC) and material adverse effect (MAE) claims, and breach of contract and fiduciary duty disputes.

Mr. Hickey has managed teams and projects in support of several testifying and academic experts. He has consulted on matters in a number of industries, including financial institutions, commercial real estate, airlines, retail food providers, consumer products, and more.

Prior to joining Brattle, Mr. Hickey was a Senior Vice President at a consulting firm. He previously held positions at several economic and litigation consulting firms, including one he founded. There, he focused on providing pre-litigation damages assessments and early-stage litigation expert consulting services.
