Mr. Dijkstra is a competition policy expert who is skilled in matters related to merger control and Article 101 investigations, and he also specializes in a range of issues involving abuse of dominance, cartels, and market studies.

For more than 10 years, he has worked on high-profile merger cases under investigation by the European Commission (EC) and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA); non-merger matters before the EC, CMA, and Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM); and damages assessments in cartel cases. Mr. Dijkstra’s work has involved coordinated, vertical, and unilateral effects analysis, and geographic market analysis. He has worked across a wide breadth of industries, including aviation, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy, consumer products, and music.

In addition, Mr. Dijkstra has been published in industry publications including Competition Policy International’s Antitrust Chronicle, and academic journals including Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal. Before joining Brattle, he gained more than a decade of experience working at an international economics consulting firm and as a competition economist at a large economic consultancy.
