Dr. Kwoka is the Neal F. Finnegan Distinguished Professor of Economics at Northeastern University.

He possesses in-depth experience in economic education and research. He serves on the editorial board for the Review of Industrial Organization and is a member of the board of directors for the Industrial Organization Society. He is a Research Fellow with the American Antitrust Institute and an ENCORE Fellow. He has previously taught economics at George Washington University, Northwestern University, Harvard University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and University of Pennsylvania. He was a Fellow at the Center for Business and Government at the Kennedy School at Harvard and a Guest Scholar at the Brookings Institution. Dr. Kwoka has previously served as Special Assistant to the Chief of the Common Carrier Bureau as well as an Economist at the Federal Communications Commission. He was an Associate Editor for the Journal of Industrial Economics, and has been on the board of editors of the Journal of Media Economics and the Antitrust Law and Economics Review.
