Dr. Bernatzky specializes in empirical microeconomics, applying economic theory and econometrics in a variety of contexts, including in antitrust, competition, and labor matters.

She has vast experience working with large datasets, as well as performing applied econometrics analysis and developing structural models. She received her PhD from Yale University, where her research focused on explaining changes in the career paths of women in the US over time and assessing the labor market behavior and insurance decisions of individuals in markets with widespread informality.
