Brattle Principal Ahmad Faruqui will present at the International Energy Policy & Program Evaluation’s (IEPPEC) Bangkok Conference, taking place November 1-2, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The IEPPEC aims to build a community to support the evaluation of carbon neutral/mitigation policies and programs to ensure wise investment of resources.

Dr. Faruqui will present, “A Hybrid Model for Forecasting Electricity Sales and Peak Demand: A Case Study of TNB in Malaysia,” during the session “New Development in Econometric Modeling, Dynamic Pricing, and Forecasting.” The session will focus on new developments in dynamic pricing, end use modeling for studying consumer behavior at the level of individual end uses and market segments, and combining traditional load research practice with advances metering and big data analytics.
