Brattle Principal Coleman Bazelon Discusses C-Band Spectrum Policy at Hill Briefing
Coleman Bazelon, a principal in Brattle’s Washington, DC office, recently provided remarks at an information session on Capitol Hill regarding C-Band spectrum policy.
The session, which featured participants from SES, Intelsat, and Intel, reviewed a proposal to the FCC that would make C-Band spectrum efficiently available for 5G across the United States. According to the presenters, this proposal would make the spectrum available while protecting the quality and reliability of the extensive services currently provided by satellite operators in C-band to U.S. broadcasters, media, and data companies.
The session, “C-Band: A Market-Driven Spectrum Proposal for 5G,” took place on April 13, 2018.
