Brattle Associate Dimitrios Dimitropoulos will join the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Competition Law Section’s Young Lawyers Committee teleconference on machine learning and algorithmic collusion, taking place on May 8 from 12:00–1:00 p.m. (ET).

As the world further digitizes, business decision-making is becoming increasingly dependent on data and algorithms to advance sales and customer experience. Dr. Dimitropoulos and the other panel members will discuss the innovative ways that businesses are using algorithms, how these algorithms are sometimes used to engage in collusion, and ways that competition agencies are handling these emerging issues.
