Principal and Co-Chair of the Global Antitrust & Competition Practice Dr. Rosa Abrantes-Metz will join an Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) workshop on screening for bidder collusion on Thursday, June 24.

Designed primarily for officials and staff of Ukrenergo, Ukraine’s power company, the workshop follows the recent release of an OECD report, “Fighting Bid Rigging in the Energy Sector in Ukraine: A Review of Public Procurement at Ukrenergo.” The event will provide an introduction to advanced detection techniques for supplier collusion.

At the session “Empirical Screens for Supplier Collusion” from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (EEST), Dr. Abrantes-Metz – providing case examples – will discuss empirical screens for cartel detection and their applications.
