Brattle Principal Francesco Lo Passo will participate in the First European Forum on Regulation for Water Services (EFRWS), which will be held on December 3 in Rome. Dr. Lo Passo’s panel, “Sustainable Water Tariffs,” will discuss existing EU member-state tariff frameworks, tariff design, and how to ensure socially sustainable tariffs.

The one-day event, organized by the European Water Regulators (WAREG) and supported by the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks, and Environment (ARERA), will assess some of the most urgent issues for the water sector in Europe and worldwide. These issues include water governance, efficiency of water utilities, and water regulation for innovation and environmental sustainability.
