Brattle Senior Associate Jeremy Verlinda will present at the 65th Annual Spring Meeting of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Antitrust Law, taking place March 28-31, 2017 in Washington, DC.

The meeting gathers all segments of the global competition and consumer protection community to share knowledge about competition and consumer protection law.

Dr. Verlinda will present during the panel session, “Competition and Consumer Policy in the Green Economy.” The session will address how the push for clean energy has resulted in an array of restrictions and incentives that open markets would not otherwise create. Dr. Verlinda and his co-panelists will focus on key questions such as:

  • What role does competition and consumer policy play where open market outcomes are deemed undesirable?
  • Is there a market for subsidy-seeking?
  • And how do antitrust standards take account of those influences?
