Pinar Bagci, a principal in Brattle’s Competition Practice, will present at Florence Competition Programme’s (FCP) ENTraNCE Workshop, taking place April 20, 2018, at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.

The event gathers academics, practitioners, officials from National Competition Authorities (NCAs), and industry representatives to discuss the consequences of the rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in Cartes Bancaires and in Intel on competition law enforcement in the EU Member States.

Dr. Bagci will participate in the session, “Antitrust Enforcement in Europe after Intel and Cartes Bancaires. A kind of Trouble to Enjoy.” Dr. Bagci will discuss the economic analysis used in the Intel case to assess whether loyalty discounts had an exclusionary effect on rivals.
