Brattle Senior Consultant Lisa Cameron Presents on Damages and Injunctions at American Bar Association's Annual Intellectual Property Conference

Dr. Lisa Cameron, a senior consultant at The Brattle Group, spoke at the American Bar Association's 27th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on March 29th, 2012 in Arlington, VA. Dr. Cameron’s presentation, “Damages and Injunctions: Key Developments for Non-Practicing Entities (NPEs),” discussed how to implement the economic approach for calculating damages favored by recent court decisions in reasonable royalty cases. Dr. Cameron also discussed the economic implications of the recent e-Bay decision, which drops the presumption of irreparable harm for patent-holders seeking a permanent injunction. The conference was hosted by the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law and provided a gathering of the foremost authorities on Intellectual Property law.
