Bruce Tsuchida to Present at Central American Renewables Investment Summit

Brattle principal Bruce Tsuchida will present at the Central American Renewables Investment Summit (CAMRIS), taking place July 13-14, 2015 in Panama City, Panama.

While hydropower has traditionally dominated the renewable generation landscape in Central America, the region is rich in natural resources and has potential for many other renewable and cost-efficient power sources, such as geothermal, wind, solar, and biomass. The event will bring together key stakeholders to help trigger investment in Central American renewables by examining opportunities for development and investment and promoting the deployment of capital.

Mr. Tsuchida will speak on the panel, “Energy Storage and the Future of Central American Grid Stability,” assessing the potential impact of intermittent renewables on grid stability across the Central American region. He will also discuss the potential role and economics of energy storage, and the applications for energy storage projects today.
