Judy Chang Discussed Electricity Market Trends at the AMP/OMEA Conference

Brattle Principal Judy Chang presented on “Electricity Market Trends and Implications for Public Power: System Needs to Support Renewables and Engaged Consumers,” at the American Municipal Power (AMP) and Ohio Municipal Electric Association (OMEA) Conference on September 24 in Columbus, OH.

Ms. Chang addressed the changing power systems, which are driven by customer demand and economics of resources, and the wholesale power market regulations and designs that will need to continue to evolve as the system needs change. She also spoke on the potential customer benefits from competition in transmission.
