Brattle Principals Pinar Bagci and Konstantin Ebinger will speak at the KNect365 Private Enforcement of Competition Law Conference, to be held February 26 in Brussels, Belgium.

The pan-European event will analyze how private enforcement of competition law is developing across Europe following the implementation of the Damages Directive, and review opportunities and strategies for defendants and claimants.

Dr. Bagci will speak on the panel “Procedural Developments including Approaches to Disclosure, Calculation of Damages, and Use of Experts.” The panel will discuss how the courts are handling disclosure and evidence and compare different approaches to calculation of damages by the courts across European Courts.

As part of the session “Update on the Passing-On Defence,” Mr. Ebinger will provide an overview of the Commission’s study on passing-on, as well as a review of current case law developments regarding the passing-on defense.
