The Brattle Group Ranked Among the 50 Best Consulting Firms to Work for by the Vault

The Brattle Group has been recognized in the 2011 Vault Consulting 50, a ranking of the top 50 consulting firms to work for in the country. The firm’s collegial environment, internationally renowned experts, and opportunities for growth are just a few of the attributes that were highlighted in the ranking. The Vault Consulting 50 rankings are based on what matters most to consultants when choosing a prospective employer. The consensus within the industry is that prestige alone is not a determining factor, but rather company culture is the single most important consideration. Given this feedback, the Vault Consulting 50 showcases the firms that are best to work by using a weighted formula that reflects the issues job seekers care about most: firm culture, work/life balance, compensation, prestige, overall business outlook, and transparency. Brattle was ranked 24th overall, and was among the top 20 in the rankings of firm culture, relationships with supervisors, training, compensation, diversity, and business outlook. Responses to the survey praised Brattle’s flat organizational structure for its ability to “[foster] a sense of collegiality” and “[expose] junior staff to some of the biggest brains in their fields.” The “diverse and challenging work” offers a “wealth of learning opportunities” and a “distinct and rewarding experience.” Brattle consultants also noted that there is an emphasis on “building personal relationships with experienced mentors and colleagues” and on “growth, development, and promotion.” This year’s rankings were based on responses from over 4,500 consultants to the Vault’s annual Management and Strategy Consulting Survey, conducted from March through July.
