Working for the Minnesota Attorney General, Dr. Sunding testified regarding econometric models to demonstrate that per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals produced by 3M that had contaminated the state’s water resources were creating adverse economic impacts in the East Saint Paul metro area. Dr. Sunding testified on his analyses in depositions, and his report was released publicly in support of the State’s request for punitive damages.
