Friday, September 19
Dr. Bazelon will present a paper coauthored with Dr. Sanyal, “Assessing Wi-Fi Exhaustion and Shortfalls in Wi-Fi Capacity,” for discussion from 11:01–11:31 a.m. (ET).
Saturday, September 20
Dr. Sanyal will present a paper coauthored with Dr. Bazelon, Brattle Senior Associate Yongjoon Paek, and Brattle Associate Dan Beemon, “Economic Benefits of Fiber Deployment,” for discussion from 9:01–9:31 a.m. (ET).
Dr. Sanyal will facilitate a discussion on “Spectrum Auctions, Scoring, and Auction Design,” and Dr. Bazelon will join as a panelist, at 4:45 p.m. The panel will explore how spectrum auction design, scoring models, and timelines may need to evolve in light of these pressures, particularly as commercial interest intensifies and federal incumbents face increasing displacement.
