Giving back to the community is an important part of life for many of us, and there are numerous causes near and dear to our hearts. To support firm-wide charitable giving and amplify the impact of individual philanthropic efforts, each year Brattle’s Charitable Giving and Matching Contributions program matches a set dollar amount of donations and/or volunteer hours per person to a broad range of registered US and international nonprofits.

Virtual Tutoring

To coincide with our backup childcare benefit, Bright Horizons offers virtual tutoring sessions for school-aged children (ages 5–18). Employees outside of North America can use backup care reimbursements for virtual
tutoring sessions.

Backup Child &
Adult Care

Caring for loved ones can be a challenge at times. Employees can take advantage of Brattle’s arrangement with Bright Horizons to use up to 10 days of backup childcare or adult care annually at a discounted rate when regular care is unavailable. Options for both in-home and in-center care are available. Outside of the US and Toronto, Brattle reimburses employees for backup care.

Our mental wellness platform offers access to one-on-one therapy and coaching sessions with certified mental health professionals and coaches, group support sessions, a meditation library, and personalized care check-ins to help manage emotional, physical, financial, and social needs.

Primary Caregiver Leave

This leave policy provides time off at 100% pay to care for an ill relative or close friend and is to be used in conjunction with local leave laws.

Brattle’s parental leave policy offers new parents ample time off at 100% pay for the birth or adoption of a child, which runs in conjunction with local, statutory leaves. Employees can use this leave time within the first 12 months after the birth or adoption.
