Mr. Lorry specializes in bankruptcy and restructuring matters, with three decades of experience executing and monitoring direct investments in distressed and special situations and helping clients solve a wide range of business and legal issues.

A former practicing attorney, private equity investor, and investment banker, Mr. Lorry has worked with public and private companies across a diverse range of industries in all stages of mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial transactions, and a wide range of commercial disputes. He also has experience in valuation analyses, commercial lending, capital raising, and financial and operational due diligence.

In bankruptcy and restructuring matters, Mr. Lorry’s representative transactions and matters include Section 363 acquisitions and dispositions, loan-to-own transactions and restructuring support agreements, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, claims and debt trading, recharacterization and other avoidance actions, and directors and officers (D&O) and fiduciary claims.

Before joining Brattle, Mr. Lorry was a Managing Director and Senior Counsel advising private equity investment funds and their portfolio companies. He gained previous experience as an investment banker and as an attorney practicing corporate, insolvency, and commercial law with Am Law 100 firms.
