Mr. Bennett specializes in power systems modeling, wholesale market design, resource planning and valuation, and transmission modeling and planning.

Much of his work focuses on wholesale markets, including market design, high-value opportunities for new transmission projects, and resource planning. His power systems modeling has been used to inform utilities’ evaluations of EDAM, Markets+, and SPP RTO in the western US and supported the development of major transmission projects like SWIP North. Mr. Bennett’s work has also touched on offshore wind planning, wholesale market tariff design, and electricity litigation and disputes.
