Dr. Rust is a Professor of Economics at Georgetown University.

Previously, Dr. Rust has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Yale University, and most recently, the University of Maryland. Dr. Rust’s major interests are numerical dynamic programming and retirement behavior. He has written papers on a broad range of topics including investment, Social Security and Medicare, the nuclear power industry, and auctions. He has been a Fellow of the Econometric Society for over 10 years.
