Matthias van den Heuvel - Brattle

Dr. van den Heuvel has experience analyzing complex economic issues using statistical tools, focusing on international arbitration.

He received his PhD from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he taught masters classes in econometrics. His research in environmental economics and entrepreneurial finance focused on financing investments in clean technologies.

Previously, Dr. van den Heuvel worked as an economist for a private bank and for the World Trade Organization (WTO).
