Mr. Tanna specializes in corporate finance matters involving valuation models and risk analysis.
He has worked on damages and valuation assessments in arbitration and litigation proceedings involving energy, infrastructure, consumables, and cryptocurrency assets across Europe, Asia, and North America. Mr. Tanna’s engagements have spanned commercial disputes involving the termination of long-term contracts as well as investor-state disputes involving alleged expropriations and changes in regulatory or policy frameworks. His work often involves developing sophisticated financial models and risk analyses.
In addition, Mr. Tanna has experience advising governments, corporations, and investors outside of litigation proceedings. His engagements have included supporting the EU’s competition regulator on energy price forecasting following gas under-deliveries in the early 2020s, assessing the value to a metals company of renegotiating contractual take-or-pay commitments under a joint venture, and evaluating the merits of an arbitration claim for a litigation funder based on the claimant’s expected outcome.
